One more intense day

One more day at the restaurant this  week. It's gonna be a doozy! We're booked solid and people keep calling. Two tips when at a restaurant, if they tell you they have no more reservations and you're talking to them while dinner service is going, say thank you and hang up. Don't ask why, don't keep talking like if you wear me down I'll cave and give you that table I'm hiding. The second tip is if they sit you at a table for two because you're two don't move to a table for four. You are not four people and unless you are gonna eat, and drink and tip like it no you can't have that four top.
Ok that's my rant for today! I woke up late this morning, 10am, so I'm crunched to get myself together for my clients. I'll be making a cup of ginger tea with some honey until I'm done with my calls today. After that we shall see what's for brunch...

I've been really craving sweets, I'm sure this has to do with period hormones, but holy. I had the biggest beet salad of my life for dinner with sauteed collards, mushrooms, and basil. Two little pieces of lamb and that was dinner. I'm home having tea with good friends and snacking on a brown rice cake with almond butter than the Strawberry Just Fruit Spread. It's doing the trick!
